I love love love Diigo. Diigo is a social bookmarking tool which allows you to bookmark, annotate, and share websites. All bookmarks are saved to your Diigo account which lives in the cloud. These bookmarks can then be retrieved using any device you use to access the Internet. You can add notes and highlight any webpage you save, making it useful when you check your bookmarks and can’t remember why you saved it in the first place!
The fun doesn’t stop there.. The whole reason Diigo is considered a social bookmarking tool is because of its ability to connect with you other users and to share resources. Here are some uses:
- Websites could be annotated and shared with students, teachers and anyone else!
- Students can add bookmarks as they find quality resources and your class can build a resource library.
- Share web resources across department or grade levels.
- Find other Diigo educators around the world and “follow” them. You will have access to all of their bookmarks.
