Voicethread is a tool which allows for group conversations surrounding images, documents or videos. It essentially acts as a slideshow with the capability for commenting by groups of people. You can leave comments by text, voice, video or by doodling. These conversations can then be saved and archived for reference at a later date.
How to use Voicethread:
- Scan in and upload student artwork or use written work. Using VoiceThread, the students can zoom in on each other’s work, adding comments on sections they like. This can work with artwork or written work.
- Perform a poem. Have students locate images reflecting the poem and have them record their voices.
